Magdalenas are the ubiquitous & delicious little Spanish sponge cakes, sometimes filled with chocolate or jam. They are found all over Spain in bars, bakeries & supermarkets often eaten for breakfast or as a quick snack with a café con leche. They are said to originate from Basque country.
Easily made at home in under 20 minutes (including cooking!). This pack contains everything required - even the 24 paper cake moulds required. You only need to add water and Oil (Olive oil is surprisingly tasty, very authentic and our favourite) or butter. 500gr pack – 24 Magdalenas
